What a stake limit does to prizes

A slot's maximum win is a multiple of the stake, so the limit caps the top prize in pounds: a 5,000x slot pays at most £25,000 at £5 and £10,000 at £2.

What it does not cover

Roulette, blackjack and other table games, online or live, set their own limits. Land-based machines have separate categories.
