The regulatory record
What the regulator has said about each operator.
Key takeaways
- Every operator behind our five has an action on record.
- All concerned social responsibility and anti-money laundering.
- Dates from 2019 to 2023.
- A record is information, not a verdict.
In shortEvery operator behind our five casinos, or its group, has been subject to Gambling Commission action between 2019 and 2023, in each case for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.
The record
| Casino | Operator or group | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Coral | LC International Limited | Entain, the group that owns LC International Limited, paid £17 million in 2022 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures across its online and betting-shop businesses. Ladbrokes Coral also paid £5.9 million in 2019. |
| Ladbrokes | LC International Limited | Entain, the group that owns LC International Limited, paid £17 million in 2022 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures across its online and betting-shop businesses. Ladbrokes Coral also paid £5.9 million in 2019. |
| PlayOJO | Skill On Net Limited | Skill On Net Limited paid £305,150 in a settlement announced on 23 May 2023, after a Commission investigation found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. |
| Casumo | Recro Limited | Casumo Services Limited, the brand's previous UK licence holder, was fined about £6 million in March 2021 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, having also been sanctioned in 2018. That licence was surrendered in November 2023. We found no action against the current operator, Recro Limited, in our search. |
| 10bet | Blue Star Planet Limited | Blue Star Planet Limited, trading as 10bet, paid £620,000 in a settlement announced on 16 February 2023, after a Commission investigation found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. |
From Gambling Commission announcements and reports of them, checked 8 October 2026. Public statements are kept online for three years, so older detail comes from reports.
How to read it
These actions concerned how operators dealt with customers showing signs of harm and with money-laundering risk. They were not findings that games were unfair or that customers were not paid. Large operators are sanctioned fairly often; what matters is what changed afterwards, which we cannot assess from outside.
Why we publish it
A site that calls casinos trusted and leaves this out would not deserve the name.

If the casino is not licensed
None of this applies. There is no regulator to complain to, no dispute service, no required testing of games, no obligation to keep your money separate and no GAMSTOP. Money sent to an unlicensed site should be regarded as spent. That is the reason every route through this site starts with the licence check.
Two things to check for yourself
We have not confirmed two items for any of the five casinos, and both are in the casino's own terms. The first is the customer funds rating: search the terms for 'insolvency' and you will find 'not protected', 'medium protection' or 'high protection'. The second is the dispute resolution service: search for 'dispute' or 'ADR' to find the independent body that hears complaints the casino has not resolved. Both take about a minute.
How to check any casino in two minutes
Scroll to the foot of the casino's site and find the operator's company name and Gambling Commission account number. Search either on the Commission's public register. Confirm that the licence is active, that it covers remote casino, and that the website you are on appears in the list of domain names. If any step fails, leave. The same check works for every casino site, slot site, betting site and bingo site in Britain, and it is the one thing no review can do for you.
Licences were confirmed on the Gambling Commission register; regulatory actions were checked against Commission announcements on 8 October 2026; offer terms on 5 October 2026.
